Long June weekend May 31 and June 1, 2024
Corpus Christi is celebrated in Poland on May 30. This day is a statutory holiday. Therefore a lot of people plan to use their holiday on the following Friday to have four days off in a row.
On May 31 and June 1, the Resort Days are planned, celebrating the 201st anniversary of the resort. Concerts and shows will be performed on the stage, and medical, cosmetic and rehabilitation stalls will be open. The weekend fair will be located on the Spa Square.
On June 11, 1823, Jan Jerzy Haffner obtained permission from the Prussian authorities to establish a health bathing facility.
